- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 cups diced onion (1 whole onion)
- 3-4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies (drained)
- 12 slices cheddar cheese
- 12 dinner rolls (sliced horizontally)
Glaze Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbs mustard
- 1 Tbs sesame seeds
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 9x13 dish with cooking spray. Place large skillet on stovetop over high heat. Add beef, along with seasonings (salt, pepper, cumin, mustard powder and paprika, when pan is hot. Add onions and garlic. Stirring occasionally until meat is browned. Stir in drained tomatoes.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in the 9x13 pan. Top with beef and slices of cheese. Place top half of rolls on top.
Mix glaze ingredients over medium heat until melted and smooth. Pour over buns
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
